024 Mar 2024

There’s more than one way to pay for charging. We’ll help you work out what’s right for you

At bp pulse, we offer a choice of four ways to pay – including subscribing. But is it the right option for you? Let’s take a look.

What does a subscription offer?

When you subscribe to bp pulse there can be several benefits. One that makes most EV owners’ ears prick up is cheaper charging. Subscribers can save over 20% on our contactless rates

The benefits go beyond making savings on charging, there’s also a convenience bonus too. With subscribers getting monthly billing and payments, managing charging costs can feel easier.

Is subscription right for me?

For most people, the biggest consideration is value for money. Of course, it depends on your charging and driving habits as to the savings you’ll make. Consider the monthly subscription cost you will pay of £7.85, and then balance that against what you typically pay as a guest or through contactless. You might even want to make calculations based on one of your typical journeys and mileage. Every person has a different budget, but if you find yourself using our public charging network regularly, it’s probably worth considering.

The other thing to remember is that the subscription is flexible. Say you need to do some extra driving away from your usual home charging spot? You can join up and unsubscribe when your charging needs change. You can pick up your subscription again at any time.
